Le Ann S. Tuggle lives in Perry, Georgia, with her husband and their two children. She currently writes a weekly newspaper column for the Houston Home Journal and teaches middle school. She is a  former school media specialist who is currently active in church, community, and school activities. 

           She received both her B.S. in political science and M.Ed. in instructional technology from Georgia College.  An avid gardener, she also enjoys traveling and following her children in their extra-curricular activities. 

           In 2005, Le Ann published a book of Bible verses for children  entitled Let's Go Fishing. With the help of her children, she illustrated it with colorful geometric shapes.

          Le Ann is also a co-founder of the DSW Baskets of Joy project which she began in memory of her sister. During Easter 2010, more than 100 Easter baskets were filled and delivered to children who ordinarily would not have received chocolate bunnies and eggs on Easter morning.
